The California Presidential Primary & The Assassination Threat Against David Palmer – February 2000

• Helped his superiors operate outside of CTU’s authority to further the investigation at the risk of his own career in an effort to protect Jack Bauer’s family, who were being held hostage and used as leverage by the group threatening Palmer.
• Directly responsible for saving the lives of Jack’s wife Teri and his teenage daughter Kim.
• Assisted in apprehending Nina Myers, his boss and lover, who was exposed as a spy selling classified information to the group behind the assassination attempt on Palmer.

Spring 2000-Fall 2001

• Testified during hearings in Federal Court related to the events of Super Tuesday 2000, supporting Jack’s actions.
• Promoted to the Deputy Director of CTU Los Angeles under the leadership of George Mason, who was recently transferred from CTU’s California District Office to assume the Director position after Jack Bauer resigned.

The Nuclear Threat Against Los Angeles – Fall 2001

• Evacuated CTU Los Angeles when Jack Bauer warned them that a low-level domestic terrorist group led by Joseph Wald, with whom Jack was working undercover, planned to blow up the building to stall the investigation of the nuclear threat again Los Angeles at the hands of Islamic extremists.
• Questioned and arrested Reza Naiyeer and Bob Warner, key players in Warner International, a Los Angeles corporation linked to smuggling the nuclear bomb into the country.
• Pivotal in CTU’s effort to find the nuclear bomb and detonate it a safe distance outside of Los Angeles.
• Promoted to Director of CTU Los Angeles when George Mason, who was exposed to lethal levels of radiation during the investigation, was forced to resign when his health began failing.  Michelle Dessler became second in command.
• Worked with Jack Bauer and Michelle Dessler, including violating orders from his boss Ryan Chappelle, to recover evidence that prevented the United States from blaming three innocent Middle Eastern countries for the nuclear detonation and starting an unnecessary  war.  This also saved David Palmer’s Presidency.

• Shared command of Los Angeles Counter Terrorist Unit with Jack Bauer, with Tony as the Director of Communications and Jack as the Director of Field Operations.  Michelle Dessler continued to function as the Deputy Director of the unit, while Tony and Jack each had their own Senior Analyst to run the floor for their departments — Adam Kaufman for Communications and Chloe O’Brian for Field Ops.

The Cordilla Virus Threat & David Palmer’s Re-Election Campaign – Fall 2004

• Known druglords and terrorists Ramon and Hector Salazar, with whom Jack Bauer had spent the better part of 2003 as an undercover operative and eventually brought down, were threatening to release a deadly and highly contagious biological weapon known as the “Cordilla Virus” into the population of Los Angeles unless Ramon was released from Federal Prison.
• Shot in the neck trying to apprehend a key suspect.
• Underwent several hours of successful vascular surgery, coming out of it with no permanent nerve damage and the expectation of a complete recovery.
• After regaining consciousness, returned to CTU and revealed to Ryan Chappelle and the rest of the CTU team that he and Jack Bauer, together with another CTU operative named Gael Ortega, had orchestrated an elaborate hoax in order to get Ramon Salazar out of prison and re-establish Jack’s cover with the Salazars so that CTU could stop them from buying the real Cordilla Virus from Ukrainian scientists in Mexico and selling it on the open market.
• CTU’s efforts to intercept the virus were complicated by the emergence of another buyer — Nina Myers.
• Interrogated Nina Myers in Los Angeles, which ultimately culminated in Nina’s attempted escape and her death at the hands of Jack Bauer.
• CTU traced the virus threat to a man named Stephen Saunders, a former British intelligence operative who had once worked with Jack during the operation to assassinate Victor Drazen, the man ultimately responsible for the threat against David Palmer in 2000.
• Compromised when Michelle Dessler was kidnapped by Saunders’ team and used as leverage against him.
• Helped Stephen Saunders escape from a building that CTU had surrounded.
• Removed Saunders’ daughter Jane from CTU custody.
• Let CTU use his meeting with Saunders to trade Michelle for Jane as a caveat to arrest Saunders.

Fall 2004-Spring 2006

• Stood trial for treason.  Sentenced to 20 years in Federal Prison for putting his wife’s life above national security and public safety.

• Pardoned by President David Palmer at Jack’s behest (one of Palmer’s last acts as President, having chosen not to seek re-election in 2004)

The Dobson Override Device & Habib Marwan – Spring 2006

• Rescued Jack Bauer and Audrey Raines from assassins during the course of their investigation into a nuclear terrorist threat, offering his home as safe haven while Jack and Audrey regrouped.
• Provided Jack Bauer with off-the-books field support, and helped him apprehend Dina Araz, one of they key players in the terrorist cell responsible for the threat.
• Returned to CTU on a provisional basis and assumed a pivotal role in the effort to stop the threat, which CTU had discovered was orchestrated by an Islamic terrorist named Habib Marwan.
• Interrogated Dina Araz
• Appointed by Secretary of Defense James Heller as Interim Director of CTU on a provisional basis after the resignation of Erin Driscoll.
• Led CTU for only an hour, when permanent replacement (and former wife) Michelle Dessler arrived to take over.
• Reconciled with Michelle, and planned to leave government work to start a new life together.
• Captured and held hostage by Mandy, a mercenary linked to Habib Marwan and two assassination threats against David Palmerbut was rescued by Jack Bauer.

The Assassination of David Palmer & The Sentox Nerve Gas Threat – Fall 2007

• Left in critical condition after surviving a car bomb that killed Michelle Dessler.
• Rushed to the medical clinic at CTU Los Angeles and underwent surgery to repair possible brain damage.
• Regained consciousness to learn of Michelle’s murder.
• Wanted revenge on the people responsible for Michelle’s death, namely Christopher Henderson, a former CTU Director and Jack Bauer’s mentor who had turned to terrorism
• Tried to kill Christopher Henderson during a lockdown in the CTU clinic, but relented at the last second
• Stabbed in the heart with a syringe full of stimulants by Christopher Henderson, who had been faking a coma, and appeared to die in Jack Bauer’s arms.
• Delivered to David Emerson, one of Henderson’s associates, by a double agent inside CTU
• Revived after being clinically dead for 10 minutes by David Emerson

Fall 2007-Spring 2013

• Lived underground, allowing the world to continue assuming he had died in the CTU medical clinic in 2007.
• Joined David Emerson’s crew of mercenaries.  Details of Almeida’s activities during this time remain highly classified.
• Discovered Emerson’s association with a conspiracy inside President Allison Taylor’s administration, and their plans to kill innocent civilians.
• Learned of a link between the conspiracy and Alan Wilson, the man behind Charles Logan and Christopher Henderson.  Set about planning his revenge.
• Became involved in a sexual relationship with Cara Bowden, one of Wilson’s key operatives, in order to get close to Wilson.
• Formed a secret alliance known as DEEPSKY with former CTU operatives Bill Buchanan and Chloe O’Brian to expose the conspiracy while undercover with Emerson.
• Exposed as alive by the FBI in Washington using video surveillance footage at the site of a major computer technology theft.  The stolen component, known as “The CIP Override Device”, would allow its user unfettered access behind the US Government’s security firewall, putting everything from air traffic to chemical plants at risk.

The CIP Device & Alan Wilson – Spring 2013

• Abducted Michael Latham, the engineer who designed the CIP Firewall.
• Used the CIP Device to hijack two commercial aircrafts and direct them to a near miss at JFK International Airport in New York City.
• Arrested by the FBI
• Interrogated by Jack Bauer.  During the interrogation, mentioned DEEPSKY to Jack.
• Escaped from FBI custody with Jack Bauer and Bill Buchanan’s help.
• Revealed to Jack the circumstances surrounding DEEPSKY.  Convinced Jack to assist their operation.
• Killed David Emerson and assumed control of his part in the conspiracy’s operation.
• With DEEPSKY and FBI Agent Renee Walker, recovered and destroyed the CIP Device.
• Provided Jack Bauer with intel on another planned attack, naming Senator Blaine Mayer’s Chief of Staff Ryan Burnett as a key player.
• Assisted Jack with an operation to secure a bioweapon brought into the United States by defense contractor Starkwood.
• Captured by Starkwood operatives
• Helped the FBI to secure and destroy Starkwood’s bioweapon arsenal before they could launch it against Washington, but also assisted a mercenary named Robert Galvez to escape the FBI’s perimeter with a canister of the weapon, giving the order to kill dozens of FBI agents with a bomb as a diversion.
• Murdered FBI Director Larry Moss during his effort to apprehend Galvez.
• Killed Galvez when Galvez tried to double-cross him.
• Met with Cara Bowden and persuaded her to convince her superiors to move forward on using the bioweapon to attack the Washington subway system.
