… and thankfully, we put to rest any confusion once and for all. It all stops (and starts?) here. Deja vu.
TV Guide Broadband recently released a video feature series on all the sexiest spies from TV and film throughout the decades, and the actors who portray(ed) them. Not surprisingly, Carlos Bernard as Tony Almeida makes an appearance in Part 1. Look for him at the 3:38 mark. (more …)
Carlos Bernard has been nominated for Year In Television – Special Achievement (Actor – Drama) honours at the 2009 American Latino Media Arts Awards, which will be held on September 18, 2009. Other actors in the running include Benito Martinez (David Aceveda – The Shield), Jorge Garcia (Hugo “Hurley” Reyes – Lost), Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert – Lost), Benjamin Bratt (William Banks – The Cleaner), and Jimmy Smits (Miguel Prado – Dexter). Let’s hope Carlos finally scoops some metal this time around, after losing the Imagen nod to Raymond Cruz of The Closer earlier this month.
Take a walk down memory lane and enjoy the fruits of our labours during AIG’s best year ever, in the form of my favourite articles and site milestones from the period leading up to and during Season 7. (more …)

Carlos Bernard Lights Up “Burn Notice”
Carlos just finished filming a guest starring role on USA Network’s hit show Burn Notice.
Unfortunately at present time, we’re not able to give out any further details concerning the character or story line. Stay tuned for more information.
This video, part of a BSkyB High Definition Promo Package and produced by Sky 1 that unfortunately never made it to air, features Carlos Bernard looking mighty hot and grooving with Annie Wersching and scantily clad homegirls to the sweet strains of Solange Knowles extolling his virtues. I could have been in love by now if it wasn’t for Tony, indeed! Hilarious. (more …)
David Anders, whom many will remember fondly from his turn as the sophisticated, ruthless and boyishly handsome British mercenary Julian Sark on Alias (who I always personally thought was super hot), is scheduled to join the cast of 24’s eighth season on a recurring basis as the son of an Eastern European mobster. I suppose the question we must now ask is: Will Anders, whose flawless upper crust British clip on Alias was a complete fabrication and proves he is a master of the faux accent, be able to top Zjelko Ivanek’s Evil Euro Villain accent from Season 1? Read more from Zap2It – David Anders gets a new alias on ‘24′.
In a recent August 9 article published by The New York Times, FOX Entertainment President Kevin Reilly hints to reporter Edward Wyatt that production expenses are a significant consideration in what the headline describes as 24’s “murky future” beyond Season 8:
Kevin Reilly, the president for entertainment at Fox Broadcasting, surprised the producers of “24” on Thursday when, in response to a reporter’s question, he said that Fox had not decided whether “24” would return after its eighth season, which is in production for broadcast beginning in January.
“We haven’t made any decision whether it’s back or not,” Mr. Reilly told Abbie Bernstein, a writer for iF Magazine, an online publication. “It’s going to come down to a business decision. It’s not an inexpensive show on the network books, and we also want to finish strong. This is not a show we want to prop up. It will be a whole creative and business discussion and something we’ll have to deal with over the next few months.” (more …)
