Jack calls Tony en route to the Port of Alexandria and fills him in on the details: Â Starkwood was Juma’s support from the outside during the attack on the White House, but worse, they developed and manufactured a biological weapon in Sangala that has already arrived in the US and is scheduled to be picked up by Starkwood operatives at 10:15 PM. Â Tony suggests calling the FBI in, but Jack reminds him that they are both wanted fugitives, and no one will believe them unless they have solid evidence of exactly where the weapon is. Â Jack asks Tony if he’s with him. Â Tony responds that he is, without hesitation. Â Jack gives him their rendezvous point, and Tony assures Jack he will be there.
After determining that there is only one security guard covering the area, Jack and Tony employ the classic “create a diversion and ambush the guy from behind” plan to capture the guard and gain the upper hand. Â They deliberately make a clanging noise from within the maze of shipping containers and when the guard goes to check it out, they execute this predictable yet effective plan flawlessly. Â Jack plays the bad cop, holding a gun to the guard’s head, while Tony stands back and looks menacing on the flank. Â Naturally, the guard agrees to cooperate in light of the gun in his face, and the two boys drag him off to the customs house to look up the location of Starkwood’s container.
Tony, who is enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at a cafe near the White House while Bill is busy blowing himself up to save the President and Jack is getting framed for two murders, receives a frantic phone call from Jack. Â Jack asks him to get their weapons and their surveillance gear, and meet him at the Port of Alexandria shipyard. Â When Tony asks Jack to wait, presumably wanting more details, Jack tells Tony he can’t, and that he’ll call him from the road. Â Despite knowing nothing about what’s going on, Tony immediately sets off for the Port to get Jack’s back.
Remember “Clue”, the classic Parker Brothers murder mystery board game that brings back all sorts of warm and fuzzy childhood memories? Â Time and Space Toys is releasing a 24-themed version that is scheduled to begin shipping in April 2009. Â You can pre-order now. Â Time and Space Toys also has a whole shitload of other cool 24 Swag, including action figures, games and “Mini-Mates” toys. Â They even have a President Palmer 1/6 scale Real Masterpiece Figurine. Â But when will they have Tony Almeida? Â I would absolutely pay $179.99 USD for a 1/6 scale Tony Almeida to watch over me while I sleep.
Thanks to site regular JustABill for the heads up.
Carlos Bernard — looking damn fucking hot, I might add — appears in the April issue of Playboy magazine for a 4-page spread in their “Playboy Fashion” feature. Â How can you go wrong with the sexy Carlos Bernard modeling top drawer tailored suits for a great photographer? Â Many thanks to site regular a-reiter for the heads up and to our affiliate site, TonyAlmeida-HesNotDead.com, for sourcing the images. Â I think I’ll be having sweet dreams tonight after seeing this

Kiefer Sutherland gives an interview to PARADE Magazine with some juicy intel about Season 7’s conclusion. Â Highlights:
On what we can expect from the Season 7 finale:
The most I can tell you about it is that it’s not going to end because someone cuts two wires and the clock on the bomb stops. It is going to end with some of the characters going through a very difficult emotional dilemma which will be much more dramatic than a big action sequence. I believe that it’s the most powerful important ending that we’ve ever had to a season.
On politics and torture:
I don’t want to get caught up in the controversy, which is why I’m very quiet about my own thoughts. I think Jack Bauer is an apolitical character. You can have Rush Limbaugh on one side and liberals like Barbara Streisand on the other side. They’re all debating how far we should go in fighting terrorism. I think that’s great. But I don’t think you can say 24 has opted for the left or the right. It’s running right down the middle, just like this country is.
On his ideal approach to 24 on the big screen:
I would like to go back and to try to make it much smaller like it was in the beginning, where Bauer’s sole responsibility was to protect one guy and through that his family was placed in jeopardy.
Carlos Bernard is featured in this week’s episode of 24: Scenemakers on the FOX website, detailing the scene from 7×15 where Jack and Tony are in a firefight with Hodges’ goons at the shipyard.
Additionally, Carlos has swapped talent agencies and is now represented by Innovative Artists. Â Hopefully this means his official website will be up to par soon. Â Further, he was also a celebrity presenter at the 30th Annual College Television Awards.
Summary
This week, on 24: Larry phones Ethan to let him know about the death of Senator Mayer, and the seeming involvement of Jack Bauer. Ethan realizes the damage it will do to the Administration when it comes out that he was the one who allowed Jack to interrogate Burnett. So he submits his resignation to President Taylor, ruining her good mood over Henry’s recovery. But as we all know, Jonas Hodges is the real culprit. Right now, he’s in the middle of raging at his board about how the President did not call on Starkwood even in the middle of this trying day. Then his hapless sidekick Greg is abandoned to field questions as another board member questions Hodges about his involvement in Mayer’s death.
Jack and Tony arrive at the shipyard, following the lead from Quinn’s cell phone, and get their hands on Port Security Guy Carl. He confesses that he took some money to support his pregnant wife, and is allowing Starkwood to smuggle something into the United States. He had no idea that there would be a W.M.D. involved. Jack and Tony convince Carl that he needs to meet Hodges’ men so that they’ll him to the bioweapon, promising that they’ll protect him. So Carl goes off to let a small army of henchmen into the shipping yard.
