No News on the S3 DVD??!!??

Still no news on the official North American release date of the Season 3 DVD. Come on FOX, get your shit together! Your fans are going nutto. I’ve been working hard on the Season 2 Tony screencaps, but they are still a ways away from completion.

Rumours and articles are still abounding over the cast changes next season. So what of the future of AlmeidaIsGod.com? Well, we will always be AIG, because whether he is a major character next season or not, Tony Almeida will ALWAYS be god and that ain’t gonna change. We are also still holding out the hope that the producers will see the horrible and blatant error of their ways and work things out. However, what I can say is that if 24 truly does see the departure of Tony and Michelle for good, I have to wonder how well a fifth season will be sustained, if that’s what they’re planning. I guess we’ll see, but without Tony, I just don’t know anymore.

2004 Emmy Nominations Roundup

Yes, that’s right, the nominations for the 2004 Emmy Awards have been announced. This is the first year that AIG has been up and running for an Emmy broadcast, and that means all of you will have the privilege of enjoying our famous Emmy Rants! Matt can attest to the fact that my Emmy Rants are second to none. I am somewhat considering not watching the Emmys because of the whole Golden Globe phenomenon. When I don’t watch, 24 wins. When I do, they lose. But I’ll be really pissed if they win and I don’t see it, so I think I will have to watch.

Without further ado, here is the complete list of 24’s Emmy nominations and my personal comments and summary.

Bad Dad in “The Jury” & Waiting for the S3 DVD

Got a chance to check out the new show The Jury last night, from Barry Levinson/Tom Fontana, the creative minds who previously brought us Homicide: Life on the Street and Oz. One of the cast of this new drama, which was actually pretty cool, is none other than our favourite homicidal rageaholic, Gary Matheson (BIlly Burke). He plays a slick lawyer district attorney dude. He wasn’t in enough of the episode for me to see whether he is as good in this role as he was in that of Psycho-Dad, but either way, he will always be beloved Psycho-Dad to us.

I really need Season 3 to come out on DVD, simply so we have something to talk about here. I’m dying to see the deleted scenes from Season 3. I’m dying for more Carlos Bernard commentary on season 3!!!!! One of these days I’m actually going to get season 2 screencaps posted ha ha ha. OK, that’s all for now, darlings.
