Not a lot of activity going on here on the site during the summer hiatus, as you can see.
There have, however, been a few cast sightings as of late. One of these sightings included Canadian actress Leslie Hope of Teri Bauer fame playing the mother of Andrew Leyshon-Hughes, who murdered his best friend Nancy Eaton in a fit of psychotic rage as she slept in her apartment and then raped her dying body. Hope’s portrayal of Mrs. Leyshon-Hughes was quite poignant. I’ve watched an episode of two of Hope’s new series “Line of Fire” where she plays an FBI agent, and have to say that I didn’t see much of a difference in her performance there from her portrayal of Teri Bauer. But Hope managed to pull off this role very well. She was able to generate a feeling of empathy and struggle in this woman whose son was a monster beyond her control, but who tried everything to reach him.
